We're delighted that our cast IAN McDIARMID, JOY McAVOY and EWAN PETRIE are being joined by Olivier Award-winning SHEILA REID – whose extraordinary range of character portrayals encompasses Lady Rawlinson in Vivian Stanshall's Sir Henry at Rawlinson End (alongside Ian as Reg Smeeton!), Mrs Buttle in Terry Gilliam's Brazil, and Madge Harvey in Benidorm. In Akiha Den Den, she is Silph – the thought-mining cockroach... 

And PETER KELLY, fresh from his acclaimed performance as Nagg in Beckett's Endgame at the Citizens' Theatre, and well known for his role in The Tall Guy with Jeff Goldblum, is to be Akiha's deathbed-defying Bullhook.

Series 1 Launch

Scheduled for SEPTEMBER 2016, there'll be a chance to experience first-hand the build-up to the live online launch of the unique audio drama series AKIHA DEN DEN, featuring exclusive music soundtrack excerpts from sound designer / composer Simon James and insights behind the scenes with writer / director Neil Cargill.

Cast

Ian McDiarmid (“Star Wars” - Darth Sidious) and Joy McAvoy (“Filth”, and Ken Loach's “The Angel's Share”) head the cast in Akiha Den Den, as beleaguered radio ham Mr Cuttings and Peri – whose voice mysteriously reaches us from the abandoned amusement park.
